Supporting healthy beginnings
In Kenya, the challenge of ensuring good health and nutrition for children remains critical. Out of 7 million children under 5 years old, 1.82 million (26%) suffer from chronic malnutrition (stunting), and nearly 4% experience acute malnutrition
These statistics underscore the pressing need for comprehensive health and nutrition programs that address the root causes of malnutrition and poor health. ChildFund Kenya is working to ensure all children are healthy and well-nourished, empowering families and communities to thrive. By addressing the complex drivers of malnutrition, we aim to give every child the best start in life.
