Every child affected by crisis has the right to grow up healthy, educated, skilled and safe. ChildFund works to ensure children affected by conflict, natural disaster, displacement, and protracted emergencies receive what they need to stay healthy, educated, skilled, and safe when crises strike.

These Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are designed to provide guidance to professionals who may encounter child online abuse in the course of their work, including law enforcement officers, child protection workers, health workers, social workers, prosecutors and other service providers.

Documentation of the effects of COVID-19 on children is minimal in Kenya. Most of the surveys done focus on adults and households, with very minimal focus on children. However, the minimal data available demonstrates that children face diverse challenges due to the effects of COVID-19.
