1,500 learners in Marigat, Baringo County, are set to benefit from a Ksh 37 million project aimed at improving learning environments and access to water and sanitation infrastructure, following the groundbreaking of the initiative by Airtel Money Kenya, through the Airtel Africa Foundation, in partnership with ChildFund.

Dubbed Building Brighter Futures, the project will support learners at Marigat Integrated Day and Boarding Primary School and Marigat Special School for the Visually Impaired.

Across both schools, the project will deliver a range of educational and WASH infrastructure, including 13 classrooms, 29 toilets, a fully equipped ICT lab, library renovation, and construction of a boys’ dormitory and a 30-point handwashing station.
