Stephen is a seasoned expert in sustainable development and humanitarian programs, with over 13 years of experience in resilience building, climate change adaptation, disaster risk reduction (DRR), economic strengthening, peacebuilding, and emergency response.

Stephen is the DRR Senior Specialist for ChildFund Kenya and Uganda. Over the course of his career, he has also held key leadership roles in other organizations in refugee livelihoods and food security, humanitarian response and climate change and resilience building. Additionally, Stephen won the prestigious USAID Securing Water for Food Challenge Fund for smallholder farmers and presented his work at the World Water Week in Stockholm, Sweden, in 2018.
