Damaris is a seasoned professional with over two decades of expertise in early childhood development (ECD), education, and community development. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with young children, caregivers, communities, donors, governments, researchers, and child-focused organizations. Damaris has held various management and technical positions, giving her a wealth of experience in program development and management, partnerships and advocacy, fundraising, facilitation, capacity strengthening, research, and knowledge management.

In her current role, Damaris provides technical leadership in the design, planning, implementation, and monitoring of innovative and cost-effective ECD and education interventions. These initiatives support infants, young children, adolescents, and youth, delivered through 13 local implementing partners across 28 counties in the country.
