Building on the Regreening Africa Project, this initiative champions environmental conservation, regeneration, and ecosystem restoration, with a strong focus on creating sustainable employment for youth and women in Kajiado, Makueni, and Kiambu counties. Building on the proven results of Phase I, the project seeks to scale impact by advancing green livelihoods and strengthening community-led environmental action.

It equips youth and women with skills in green entrepreneurship, supports participation in carbon markets, and promotes large-scale tree planting and landscape restoration. It also fosters environmental stewardship through eco-clubs in schools, helping to embed long-term behavior change and sustain local ownership of environmental protection efforts.

  • Enhance environmental conservation, regeneration and restoration through creation of sustainable jobs and livelihoods for youths and women.
  • Empower 1200 children, youths and the regreening movement to become champions of sustainable environmental conservation and entrepreneurship.
  • Strengthen carbon markets for smallholder farmers.
